- Look: The raw sea moss powder inside each Vegicap is a deep tan flecked with olive green. That is the natural color of low-temperature dried Chondrus crispus. Sun-bleached imitations look bone-white. Real wildcrafted Irish sea moss does not.
- Smell: Briny, oceanic, low-tide. Clean, not fishy.
- Taste: The Vegicap itself is tasteless. Sampled directly from the bulk, the powder reads salty and earthy.
