Description
Jujube powder was reported rich in vitamins A, B, and C. Its vitamin C content is higher than that in grape and apple, as the top few among various fruits and vegetables, and is thus called a “natural vitamin pill.” The analysis results of 13 Jujube fruit varieties showed that they contained vitamin C 4.36-18.2 mg, vitamin A 8.06-27.7 IU (international units), and vitamin E 2.66-6.77 IU vitamin B1 0.11-0.39 mg, and vitamin B2 0.26-0.56 mg per 100 grams.
