There are two different plants of Graviola (Soursop), and one that we use is called Graviola (Annona muricata), which has 82 different acetogenin chemicals, and what makes it more impressive is that it’s in ten distinct types. Next is Mountain Graviola (Annona Montana), which contains the main annonacin chemical that Graviola – the fruit does, yet it has 26 more acetogenin chemicals not found in regular Graviola. With that said, we combined the two (Annona muricata and Annona Montana) along with other families of Graviola to provide you with 12 different types of acetogenins and 108 distinct, powerful chemicals in all.
Now, if you compare that to only 28 acetogenin chemicals found in the American Graviola (paw) – our blend supersedes it by far, once again almost four times more acetogenins than its fruit.
Annona muricata has been researched to be selectively cytotoxic to tumor cells without toxicity to healthy cells. On the other hand, Annona Montana researchers discovered these new acetogenins in 2005, showing significant selective cytotoxicity toward hepatoma cells, also known as (Hep G2), and two compounds even were active against ovarian tumor cells.
